Lipoprotein(a) Testing

Lipoprotein(a) levels are not currently tested as a part of your typical cholesterol panel by your physician. It is only necessary to test your Lp(a) once to determine if you have above normal levels. This test to check for Lp(a) high cholesterol is important to your health, and since it is inherited it is important to the health of your family.
