Lipoprotein(a) is a vastly under-recognized public health issue in the United States. Lp(a)CARE has a goal of building awareness with the public and health care professionals.(Delete bullet point.)

Testing for lipoprotein(a) should be done at least once in every person's life.  Lp(a)CARE intends to ensure that this is done in the United States.

We are dedicated to supporting research of Lipoprotein(a).  The more that is discovered about this "ugly" lipoprotein, the better we can detect and treat it in the U.S.
